Born and raised in different countries their common ground is to spread traditional Yog. Planting the seeds of yog is their mutual purpose wherever in this world. They both strive for bringing strenght and relaxation to the body, enhancing the respiration of the lungs and supporting the calming of the mind. Since her childhood Jyoti had an interest in yoga as she heard many times the benefits of yoga for body mind and soul. It was not until she went to Chittrakoot for ‘Rakshan Bandhan Jhula’ festival when Maharaji -who later became her Guru- talked about this new curriculum on human consciousness and yogic science that this burning desire arose within.
She stayed at Chittrakoot Ashram under Gurukul supervision of Maharaji when she started this 3 year yoga education program on Human consciousness and Yogic science. Then she continued her studies at Bophal University obtaining her Masters degree and further developped her skills during her M-Phil in the same field.
Grace’s first Yoga class she took in a tiny village called Fishhoek near Cape Town in South Africa on a holiday in 2008. At that time due to her bodily condition of a left sided paralysis due to a bacteria, she felt frustrated and limited in her own life. This first class ignited the possibility of yoga and soon upon returning home she started with weekly yoga classes in Antwerp – Belgium.
In 2016 She enrolled in a 500HR Yoga Teaching course at the Rishikesh school of yoga when she first immersed deeply in traditional yoga. She continued her yogic path and felt blessed when meeting Jyoti in 2017 in Kaivalyadham International Yoga Institute, Lonavla, India.
